Smoke Urself Stoopid
Saturday December 13th, 2008
Reggae/surf/hip-hop/rock band Slightly Stoopid is extending its road trip.
Slightly Stoopid has announced February dates in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida. The band is also a headliner at the Langerado Fesival in Miami in March.
Slightly Stoopid has been tearing it up on the road, for real. They sold out two nights at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. in October, as well as McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore., Mesa Amphitheatre in Arizona, St. Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida and a whole bunch of other places during the band’s fall jaunt. No wonder they want to keep going.
The first leg of the 2009 tour will support the band’s most recent CD, Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid, which was released in July.
Supporting will be Inner Circle, famous for its “Bad Boys” theme heard during the “COPS” intro. Inner Circle helped Stoopid record the album at its Circle House Studios in Miami. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 13.
